Waltham Mrs. Marguerite E. (LeBlanc) Leger of Waltham died Monday, October 31, 2005 at Maristhill Nursing Home. She was 82. Born in Bellecote, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucy (Delaney) LeBlanc, she was raised and educated in Cheticamp, Cape Breton. She moved to Waltham in 1947 and married Robert J. Leger who died in 1999. Marguerite was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. She was also an avid backyard bird watcher whose favorite bird was the Cardinal and she was an accomplished seamstress. She leaves her children, Donald J. Leger of Natick, Roberta A. Leger of San Jose, California, Theresa M. Pirie of Waltham and Annette M. Leger-Jeffrey of Florence, Oregon; one brother, Urbain LeBlanc of Moncton, New Brunswick; one sister, Aurora Ste. Croix of Woburn; her grandchildren, Leonora Parker, David and Kevin Pirie and Aidan Leger-Jeffrey and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Anita M. Leger and sister of the late Louis, Leonard, Eugene, Emille LeBlanc, Lorette Miller, Mary Stella LeBlanc and Cecille Aurora LeBlanc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
