Maria Cardona

Framingham – Mrs. Maria (Peluso) Cardona, of Framingham, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 87. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a daughter of the late Pascual and Rosa (Calabrese) Peluso, she came to America in April, 1973. She was a homemaker and had lived in Waltham and in Newton before moving to Framingham. The wife of the late Antonio Cardona, she leaves her children, Jorge Cardona and Rosa Cardona, both of Buenos Aires, Norberto Cardona of Framingham, Carlos Cardona of Watertown, Norma Masseri of Waltham and Hector Cardona of Framingham, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Sylvia Cardona and was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
