Waltham- Miss Maria Ann Safina of Waltham died Sunday April 11, 2004 in Newton Wellesley Hospital. She was 84.<br><br>Born in Rockland, Maine a daughter of the late Salvatore and Victoria (Terranova) Safina, she was an assembler for BF Goodrich Company for many years. She was a resident of Waltham for twenty five years and was a member of Saint Charles Church, as well as active in charity work at both Saint Charles and Saint Marys in Waltham and enjoyed doing Arts and Crafts.<br><br>She was the sister of the late William, Joseph and Salvatore Adamo, Josephine Detorre and Virginia Riggio. <br><br>She is survived by her niece Christine Behrikis of Waltham and many other nieces and nephews.<br><br>The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Church, 51 Hall Street Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.<br><br>Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to the A.L.S.
