Waltham - Mrs. Marie E. (Geoffrion) Arsenault, of Waltham, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. She was 70. Marie was born in Boston on January 14, 1939 a daughter of the late Bella Geoffrion and had lived in Waltham for most of her life. She graduated from Saint Joseph's High School in Lowell. In addition to raising her family, Marie was a security administrator for the Raytheon Corporation for over 20 years. She was a member of the former Saint Joseph's Church, a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post # 2152. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed ceramics and cooking. Her husband, Iroy J. Arsenault died in 2003 and a daughter, Lori Anne Arsenault died in 1987. She leaves children, Donna M. Ferrara and her husband, Egidio, of Wrentham, John F. Arsenault of Waltham and his girlfriend, Denise Melanson of Watertown, Diane M. Muizulis and her husband, Thomas, of Waltham and Susan A. Newton and her husband, Mark, of San Jose, California; her grandchildren, Victoria, Michael, Andrew, Matthew, Jessiah, Adam, Sarah, Thomas and Alexander; her great-grandchildren, Joshua and Meagan; her sister, Norma Landry of Sun City, California; her special aunt, Mary Geoffrion of Newton and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Marie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Memorial donations may be made to the Lori Anne Arsenault Memorial Scholarship Fund, Treasurer's Office, Waltham City Hall, 610 Main St., Waltham, 02453.
