Waltham Mrs. Marie E. (Henry) Cullen, of Waltham, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in The Stanley Tippett House, Needham. She was 99 and was to celebrate her 100th birthday on March 26th. Marie was born in Waltham, a daughter of the late George and Emma (LeBlanc) Henry, and had been a lifelong Waltham resident. She was a graduate of the former St. Marys High School. Prior to marrying, she worked as a secretary for B.F. Goodrich Company. She was a communicant of Saint Marys Church in Waltham. Her husband, Joseph L. Cullen died October 24, 1973. She was predeceased by her siblings, George, Mabel and Imelda Henry, Sally Fournier and Aldea Truelove. Marie is survived by two daughters, Janice N. Kreitz and her husband, Joseph, of Scituate, and Joanne E. Gobbi and her husband, Francis, of Dover; five grandchildren, Nicholas Gobbi of San Francisco, Kara Gobbi and Amy Leveris, both of Sharon, Nicole and John Kreitz, both of Scituate; two great-grandchildren, A.J. Leveris and Isabelle Gobbi; a sister, Irene Murphy of Thousand Oaks, California; many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:15 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Stanley Tippett Hospice House, 920 South Street, Needham, MA 02492.
