Marie H. "Doll" Dawson

Waltham – Mrs. Marie H. “Doll” (Doyle) Dawson of Waltham died Monday, January 10, 2005 in her home. She was 77. Born in Boston, Mrs. Dawson was raised and educated in Brighton. She was a graduate of St. Columbkille’s High School. She had lived in Waltham since 1950. Mrs. Dawson was a secretary for George Dawson and Company.

Mrs. Dawson was the beloved wife of the late John J. Dawson and the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Mary Doyle. She was the loving mother of John J. Dawson Jr. of Waltham, the devoted grandmother of Kelly M., Maureen A. and Meagan M. Dawson all of Waltham, the dear sister of Katherine Coffey of Brighton, Frances Doherty of Norwood and the late John, Lawrence and William Doyle and Anna Hersome, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Friday, January 14th at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
