Marie L. Desveaux

Waltham – Miss Marie L. Desveaux, of Waltham, died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 100. Marie was born on October 24, 1907 in Friars’s Head, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Job and Cecile (Doucette) Desveaux, and moved to Waltham in 1928. Until her retirement, she had worked for many years at the Raytheon Company. She was a sister of the late Wilfred, Peter and Anne Desveaux and leaves two nieces, Bertha LeBlanc and Leona MacDonald, both of Nova Scotia and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
