Waltham – Miss Marie L. Duffy of Waltham died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Kindred Hospital, Boston.
A lifelong resident of Waltham, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Isabella L. (Biggins) Duffy. Until her retirement, she worked for the Ucinite Company of Newtonville and had been a member of Saint Mary’s Sodality.
She leaves one sister, Bernadette I. Duffy of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Lawrence J., Aloysius E., John F. and Catherine T. Duffy.
The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Donations in Marie’s memory to Saint Mary’s Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
