Assonet – Mrs. Marie T. (LeBlanc) Faherty, of Assonet, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was 50.

Marie was born in Boston, a daughter of Paul E. and Lorraine M. (Tolan) LeBlanc, of Waltham. She was raised in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School. She had lived in Assonet for more than fifteen years, moving there from Waltham.

In addition to her parents, she leaves her husband, James Faherty; her sons, Jared and Joshua Faherty, both of Assonet; her brothers, Paul LeBlanc of Framingham, Mark LeBlanc and his wife, Karen, of Watertown and Lawrence LeBlanc of Waltham; her mother-in-law, Ruth Davis of Assonet and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was also the sister of the late Joseph P. LeBlanc.

Family and friends will honor and remember Marie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, September 14th, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
