Waltham – Mrs. Marie E. (Graves) Mirabito died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Newton- Wellesley Hospital. She was 95.
Marie was born March 27, 1921 in Chelsea a daughter of the late Martin and Laura (Hiscoe) Graves. She was raised in Weston and lived all of her life in Waltham since her marriage to Salvatore F. Mirabito. Sal died on May 9, 1991.
She worked at Diane Marie Cleaners In Waltham for many years before retiring.
Marie enjoyed time spent with her family, a road trip to a casino or a shopping excursion.
In addition to her husband, Sal and her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Dorothy A. Bisson, her son-in-law, Claude Kinsman and her siblings, Maynard Graves, Dorothy Frazier, Vivian Dempsey and Vera Cook.
She leaves her children, Sally A. Melanson and her husband, Edward of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Susan M. Kinsman of Waltham and Roy S. Mirabito and his wife, Christine, all of Waltham; her grandchildren, Mark, Gerald and Eric Bisson, Donna Roache, Edward Melanson, Diana Furia, Deborah Kinsman, Kristen Mullin, Laura Howard and Jacqueline Rogers; her great-grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, John, Sarah, Samantha, Julie, Brady, Holly, Ryan, Benjamin, Lucas, Addison, Ella, Olivia, Jacob, Gianne and Anthony; also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Marie's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, November 25th from 4 - 8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Saturday morning where her funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery.
