Mrs. Marie P. (Bercy) Randolphe died peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at her Waltham home. She was 70 years old.
Marie was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, on August 11, 1951, a daughter of the late Almand Bercy and Yvonne Castin. She was raised and educated in Haiti. She also met and married her husband Serge Randolphe in Haiti and the family immigrated to the United States in the 80's
Marie will be remembered most by how caring and giving she was. She loved spending time with her family, especially going back home on family vacations. She also loved helping others and used this gift while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kindred Healthcare in Needham for 25 years.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Serge, who died on November 11, 2004.
Marie is survived by her children, Serge Randolphe, Jr. of Miami Florida, Magdala Randolphe of Florida, and Maria J. Randolphe, also of Waltham; her granddaughter, Cynthia Guibert; her siblings, Myrthane Castin, Harry Castin, Daniel Castin, Ines Bagon, Isma Bercy, Elicia Bercy, Eugénie Toussaint, Clemente Bercy, Amoux Bercy, Esperance Bercy and Roman Bercy; also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Family and friends will honor and remember Marie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, March 11th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, March 12th before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School St, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
