Marilyn H. (O'Sullivan) Crowe

Waltham – Mrs. Marilyn H. (O'Sullivan) Crowe, of Waltham, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her home. She was 86.

Marilyn was born in Cambridge on June 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Michael H. and Helen R. (Hartley) O'Sullivan. She was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School. After that she went to work for Harvard Trust Bank in Harvard Square.

In July, 1959 she married Joseph Richard 'Dick' Crowe in Blessed Sacrament Church in Cambridge and a year later the couple moved to Waltham. They were both active members of Saint Mary's Parish in Waltham where they served as Eucharistic ministers. Marilyn and Dick enjoyed fifty-five happy years together until Dick's death two years ago.

She leaves her sister, Joan E. Neshe of Waltham; her sister-in-law, Joan O'Sullivan of Bedford, New Hampshire; her nieces and nephews, John F. Neshe, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Waltham, Richard M. Neshe and his wife, Brenda, of Waltham, Stephen G. Neshe and his wife, Lisa, of Dedham, Maura McLaughlin of Exeter, New Hampshire, Carolanne Sturgis and her husband, William of Bedford, New Hampshire and Robert O'Sullivan and his wife, Cassie, of Manchester, New Hampshire and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Marilyn was also a sister of the late Robert H. O'Sullivan and sister-in-law of the late John F. Neshe, Sr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Marilyn's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, January 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
