Marilyn M. Davies

Waltham – Mrs. Marilyn M. (Coombs) Davies, of Waltham, died Friday, March 13, 2009 in her home. She was 77. Marilyn was born in Waltham on October 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Herbert F. and Delia F. (Burke) Coombs and had been a lifelong resident. Marilyn had worked for over twenty years for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham and also had worked for several years in the floral department at Hannaford Supermarket in Waltham She leaves her son, Robert D. Davies of Hartland, Maine; one brother, Herbert Coombs of Waterboro, Maine and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Marilyn's life by gathering at 10 a.m. on Friday morning in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
