Waltham – Mrs. Marion A. (Noke) Farrell, of Waltham, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Woburn Nursing Center. She was 78. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late William G. and Evelyn (Wignott) Noke, Jr., Marion was a homemaker who had lived in Wells, Maine and in Englewood, Florida before returning to Waltham. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Farrell, Sr. and Albert J. Bertrand, Jr. Marion leaves her children, Al Bertrand of Waltham, Dianne Cornaro of Billerica, Gail Drakos of Waltham, Stephen Bertrand and Peter Bertrand, both of Billerica; her step-children, Colleen Bertrand of Waltham, Diane Crescitelli of Watertown, Robert Farrell, Jr. of Warner, New Hampshire, John Farrell of Norwood, David Farrell of Nashua, New Hampshire and Robin Barbato of Watertown; her brother, C. Walter Noke of Waltham; 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ernest, William, Ruth, Edmund, Herbert and Robert Noke, Evelyn Evans, Louise Granger, Hazel Wheeler and Mildred Wheeler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Service in Lakeview Congregational Church, 285 Lake Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
