Marion E. (Hamill) Feeney

Waltham – Mrs. Marion E. (Hamill) Feeney, of Waltham, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Waltham Crossings. She was 82.

A daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hamill, Marion was born in Brighton on January 1, 1935. She spent the early years of her life there and graduated from Brighton High School until moving to Waltham in her early twenties where she remained a lifelong resident.

Family and friends will remember Marion for her artistic ability that came naturally to her. One of the many ways she shared this skillful gift with those around her was by starting a neighborhood ceramics class.

The wife of the late Francis J. Feeney, she leaves her children, Francis J. Feeney, Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie, of Hingham, Waltham Police Captain Donald M. Feeney and his wife, Cristina, of Waltham, Steven L. Feeney and his wife, Sandra, of Townsend, Cheryl M. Bastardi and her husband, Thomas, of Nashua, New Hampshire and Lynn D. Parsons and her husband, Roger, of Rowley and her grandchildren Colleen, Brendan, Devin, Meghan, Emily, DJ, Steven, Sean, Stephanie and Shannon Feeney, Tommy and Laura Bastardi and Corey and William Parsons.

Family and friends will honor and remember Marion's life by gathering on Saturday, July 8th in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where graveside services will be held at 12 Noon.

Memorial donations may be made to Sweet Paws Rescue, P.O. Box 752, Essex, MA 01929.
