Waltham - Mrs. Marion E. (Graves) McIvor of Waltham died Monday October 31, 2005 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 88. Born in Dorchester, a daughter of the late Roland (Bill) and Ella (OBrien) Graves, she worked for thirty-two years as a name plate inspector for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham. She retired in 1982. Marion was a graduate of Saint Charles High School, and a member of the Raytheon Retirees Club, the North Waltham Seniors, the South Side Senior Citizens Club, Waltham Twirlers Club and the Waltham Senior Citizens Bowling League. She had also been a volunteer at Middlesex County Hospital in Waltham for many years. She was the wife of the late Francis W. McIvor. She leaves her children, Marilyn E. McDonough of Waltham, formerly of South Boston, Maureen F. Cawley and her husband David of Waltham, and Nancy L. Cox and her husband R. Donald of Belmont, formerly of Arlington; three brothers, William J. Graves of Quincy, Edward J. Graves of Daytona Beach, Florida and Robert E. Graves of Waltham; one sister, Ruth M. MacIvor of Waltham; her grandchildren, Colleen, Brian, Jamie, and Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Ciara, Ethan, Julia, and Rachel and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother-in-law of the late James McDonough. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
