Marlborough Mrs. Martha E. (McKenna) Marinoni of Marlborough died Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Beaumont Nursing Center, Northborough. She was 71. She was the wife of the late Mario A. Marinoni. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Irene A. (OKeefe) McKenna, she was a graduate of Rosary Academy in Watertown. She was a Marlborough resident for the past forty-eight years, and in addition to being a homemaker and raising her family, Martha had been the co-owner with her late husband of Boxborough Green Mall and Boxborough Liquor and Convenience Store. They had formerly owned Walcott & Avery Package Store in Marlborough and Sullivans Package Store in Fitchburg. She leaves her children, John J. Jay Marinoni and his wife, Ellen of Marshfield, Paul E. Marinoni and his wife, Mary of Tampa, Florida and Martha Marty Tascione and her husband, Michael of Northborough; three sisters, Eleanor V. Kavaleski and Dorothy I. Joyce, both of Waltham and Margaret A. Coen of Marlborough; one brother, William J. McKenna of Berlin; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Michael M. Marinoni and a sister of the late M. Ruth Forster and Edward L. McKenna, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Monday from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Marlborough followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street, Marlborough at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.
