Martha A. Pettis

Waltham - Mrs. Martha A. (Tracey) Pettis of Waltham died Tuesday April 25, 2006 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was 64. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Stanton) Tracey, she worked for many years as a sales girl for Grover Cronin’s Department Store in Waltham. She was a 1959 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School, a former member of the Waltham Jaycees, and enjoyed caring for her family and her grandson. Martha was the wife of the late Allen C. Pettis She is survived by her children, Brian Pettis and his wife, Susan of Stow, Kathleen P. Buckley and her husband, Ted of Watertown, Jennifer Pettis of Arlington; and her grandson, Brett Pettis. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Julia’s Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
