Cambridge - Miss Martha J. Walsh of Cambridge, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, June 27, 2005 in her home. She was 58. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late William J. and M. Louise (Campbell) Walsh, she was a lifelong resident before moving to Cambridge three years ago. Martha was a volunteer for many years for the Stigmatine Fathers and Brothers at the Espousal Center in Waltham and also at Waltham Hospital. She had been a member of the residents association at the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill in Waltham and at the Windsor House in Cambridge. She leaves her sisters, Mary Lou Jacobs and her husband James of Waltham and Kathleen Lapsley and her husband Robert of Dedham; 12 nieces and nephews and 13 grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, cor. of River and Newton Sts., Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
