Marton Brasch

Mr. Marton Brasch of Waltham died Thursday July 3, 2003 in his home. He was 79. Born in Hungary, a son of the late Ference and Magdalene Brasch, Mr. Brasch was a Precision Machinest for Polaroid for twenty five years. Mr. Brasch graduated from the University of Hungary with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. In 1956, Mr. Brasch was a Freedom Fighter in the Hungarian Revolution, and also spoke seven languages. He was an avid bridge player and dancer. Mr. Brasch was the husband of the late Ernestine (Gullotti) Brasch. He is survived by his children, Magdalene Brasch of Brighton, Mary Brasch and her friend Brian Yetman of Cambridge, and Francis Brasch of Waltham. Grandfather of Tanya Rose Brasch of Boston. Also survived by Stephen Goodspeed of Waltham. Companion of Audrey Deshler of Lexington. Also survived by family and many friends in both the United States and Europe. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 8, at 9am from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20) Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10am. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Monday, July 7, 4-8pm in the funeral home. Donation’s in Marton’s memory may be made to Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 531313, Henderson, NV 89053.
