Mary Ann Jensen

Mrs. Mary Ann (Corr) Jensen, of Waltham died Thursday, December 16, 2010 in her home. She was 70.

Mary Ann was born in Cambridge on July 29, 1940 a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Snyder) Corr. She was raised and educated in Watertown before moving to Waltham in 1968. She worked in the cafeteria in Waltham High School for several years. Mary Ann enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramics and in her spare time could often be found gardening.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, Walter A. Jensen; her children Wayne C. Jensen and Kristine M. Jensen both of Waltham, and Andrew M. Jensen and his wife, Cathleen, of Hudson; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was also the sister of the late Charles J. Corr

Family and friends will honor and remember Mary Ann’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Patrick’s Church, 212 Main St., Watertown, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
