Mary E. Cain

Waltham – Mrs. Mary E. (Farrell) Cain of Waltham, formerly of Weston, died Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 96. Mrs. Cain was born in Roscommon, Ireland and had lived in Weston for many years before moving to Waltham. She was the wife of the late John A. Cain, the daughter of the late John and Bridget (Ford) Farrell, and the sister of the late Hugh Farrell, Martin Farrell, John 'Jack' Farrell, Kate O’Brien, and Bridget Kelly. Mrs. Cain is survived by her nieces, Mary Ridge of New York and Mary Andreozzi of Brighton; her nephew, Joseph O’Brien of Pocasset; and several grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Julia’s Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston at 10 am. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
