Mary H. Casalinova

Mrs. Mary H. (Mantey) Casalinova of Waltham died Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Chestnut Hill. She was 83. Mrs. Casalinova was born in Brighton on January 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Edward W. and Katherine A. (Hac) Mantey.
She had lived in Brighton before moving to Waltham in 1978. Mary was a part time cashier at Donellan's Store in Lincoln as well as the A & P Supermarket.
Mary married Joseph J. Casalinova on September 14, 1947 in Saint Anthony's Church in Allston.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Ronald P. Casalinova and his wife, Janice, of Billerica and Joseph J. Casalinova, Jr. of Maine; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was the sister of the late Edward W. Mantey.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering on Friday, September 28th, in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02110.
