Mary E. Chiasson

Waltham – Mrs. Mary E. Chiasson died in her home surrounded by family on Monday August 14, 2017. She was 92.

Mary was born in Boston on September 14, 1924, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Murphy) Fairclough. She was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Roxbury High School. Until her retirement she had worked as an administrative aide at Panametrics in Waltham.

She was the wife of the late Edmond T. Chiasson and is survived by her children, Dennis P. Chiasson of Methuen, Anne M. Arnold of Pepperell, Edmond T. Chiasson Jr. of Windham, NH, Daniel M. Chiasson of Waltham, Margaret E. Chiasson of Waltham and Patricia A. Buccella of Waltham, her grandchildren, Kimberly Desfosse, Stacey West, Shannon Chiasson, Toni-Marie Buccella, Thomas Buccella, Christopher Collman and Michele Chiasson; her great-grandchildren, David Desfosse, Mackenzie West, Evan and Mia Buccella and Lucas Benoit and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late John, James, Thomas, Arthur and William Fairclough, Marion Goodfellow, Theresa Arno, Margaret McQueen, Elizabeth McFadden and Gladys Kerr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, August 17th, from 4-8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Friday at 9:30 am before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
