Mary Edna Clements

Waltham - Mrs. Mary E. (Cox) Clements of Waltham died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at West Newton Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 77. Born in Lawrenceville, Virginia, Mrs. Clements had lived in Boston before moving to Waltham. Until her retirement she had worked for Shaw's Supermarkets and before that had been Day Care Director for the Cooper Community Center in Boston for twenty-five years. The wife of the late Lacy Clements, Jr., she leaves her sons, Lacey Clements III and Lionel E. Clements both of Waltham; her grandchildren, Xavier E. Baker-Clements and Nigel C. Baker-Clements; one brother, Nathaniel Cox of Milton and two sisters, Martha McCoy of Wilmington, NC and Laura Walker of Lawrenceville, VA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services at 2 p.m. Sunday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham.
