Mrs. Mary (Conroy) Cook of Waltham, formerly of Arlington, died Monday, March 7, 2005 in the the Dorothy Frances Home in Waltham. She was 105. Born in Galway, Ireland, Mrs. Cook had lived in Arlington for many years until moving to Waltham in 1999. She was an assembler for Cain Mayonnaise until her retirement several years ago. Mrs. Cook was the wife of the late John Cook, the daughter of the late Patrick and Ann (Kane) Conroy, and the sister of the late Margaret M. Farquharson, Beatrice Daly, Thomas Conroy, John Conroy, Patrick Conroy, and Nora Burke. She is survived by her nephews, Robert Farquharson of Maynard and Richard Farquharson of Waltham and her niece, Ruth Kitowicz of Maynard. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass on Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Memorial donations to the Genesis Fund, One Randolph Street, Canton, MA 02021 would be appreciated.
