Watertown - Mrs. Mary D. (Farrell) Crowley, of Watertown, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in her home. She was 82.
Mary was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary ‘Mae’ (Cameron) Farrell. Raised in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, she immigrated to the United States in 1960. Following her marriage to Joseph Crowley in 1964, the pair made Waltham their home for many years.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Kenneth Farrell, and her sister, Isabel Webb.
She leaves her children, John J. Crowley (Terri) of Northborough, Debra A. Dunn (Barry) of Watertown, and James A. Crowley of Dana Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Julia, Taylor, and Joseph Crowley, and Barry, Shannon, and Delanie Dunn; her sisters, Laura M. Noiles of Waltham, and Catherine A. “Sis” MacDonald of Prince Edward Island, Canada and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, January 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Patrick’s Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
