Mary F. Cunningham

Waltham - Mrs Mary F. (Rietchel) Cunningham, of Waltham, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. She was 97. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Max and Annie (Maguire) Rietchel, Mary worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Workingman Co-Op Bank in Boston. Mary was the wife of the late Harold Cunningham and sister of the late Arthur, Edward, Paul and Ernest Rietchel. She leaves her sister, Margaret W. Bergesen of Waltham, her sister-in–law, Kay Rietchel of Newton and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham.
