Mrs. Mary L. (Cullen) Desorcy, of Weston, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was 74.
Mary was born on February 27, 1947 in Somerville a daughter of the late Michael A. and Anna L. (Colarusso) Cullen. Raised in Watertown, she was a graduate of Watertown High School and continued her studies at the Chandler School of Boston. She was married to Paul J. Desorcy for forty-six year until his death on November 21, 2019.
Mary owned and operated The Window Trimmer of Weston, a window treatment and design firm and Mary was still working at the time of her death.
Mary loved the company of her family and friends. She cherished time at her cottage on Cape Cod and the friendships from her many rounds of the game of golf which she very much enjoyed.
She leaves her siblings, Kathleen Hunt (Frank) of Norristown, Pennsylvania, Michael A. Cullen Jr. (Kathy) of Manchester, New Hampshire and Elizabeth A. 'Betsy' Cullen of Watertown; her step-daughter, Kimberly Poulin-Gilman of Connecticut; her step-grandchildren, Marissa and Grace Poulin; nieces and nephews, Christine and Erik Hjorth, Dan and Kelly Hunt, Meghan Cullen, Sean Cullen and Michael Slonina; many great-nieces & great-nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, October 11th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Julia's Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a 10 a.m. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
