Mary C. Evans

Marlborough – Mrs. Mary “Mae” C. (Ferris) Evans of Marlborough died Monday, March 28, 2005 in the Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was 93. Born in Ireland, Mrs. Evans had lived in Waltham for many years before moving to Marlborough. She was the wife of the late Leonard T. Evans and the daughter of the late William and Mary Jane (McClelland) Ferris. Mrs. Evans is survived by her sons, Ronald W. Evans of San Jose, CA and David R. Evans of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, at 10 am in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. A visiting hour will be held prior to the Funeral Service on Wednesday from 9-10 am.
