Mrs. Mary G. (Rochleau) Garrity of Waltham died Sunday August 31, 2003 in her home. She was 90. Born in Lynn, a daughter of the late Hormisdas and Mary (Cheever) Rochleau, Mrs. Garrity worked for many years as a Telephone Operator for the New England Telephone Company until her retirement in 1963. She was a former member of the North Waltham Seniors, Southside Seniors and the Beaverbrook Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Garrity was the wife of the late Joseph S. Garrity and the sister of the late Wilfred and George Rochleau. She is survived by her sister-in-law Eileen A. Rochleau of Waltham and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery Waltham. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
