Mrs. Mary J. (Noble) Heath of Waltham died Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland. She was 83. Born in Dorchester, Mrs. Heath had lived in Waltham for many years. She worked at Hayes and Bickford's in Boston for four years, The Silk Mill in Brighton for five years, the Raytheon Company in Newton for nine years, and was a switchboard operator for fifteen years at the Waltham Hospital where she also volunteered for twenty eight years. Mary enjoyed knitting and ceramics and loved to visit all of her friends and family in and out of state. Mrs. Heath was the wife of the late Richard A. Heath, the mother of the late John A. Heath, the daughter of the late Warren A. and Sophie J. (Watts) Noble, the sister of the late Warren A. Noble, Jr. and Barbara Olson and the step mother of the late Marjorie A. Morrison. She is survived by her son, Richard A. Heath, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Duxbury; her daughter in law, Eileen Heath of Maynard; her sisters, Margaret Zilke of Mississippi, Marion Hughes of Oklahoma, and Muriel Sherman of Illinois; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham, on Saturday at 11 am.
