Belmont - Mrs. Mary E. (Coyne) Keating, of Belmont, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in her home. She was 83. Born in Somerville, a daughter of the late Michael and Delia (Conroy) Coyne, she was an administrative assistant to the principal at the Wellington School in Belmont for many years. Mary had lived in Belmont since 1954 and was active for many years at Saint Joseph’s Church in Belmont. She was the sister of the late Brother Mel Coyne, C.F.X. and Rita Hurley. She leaves her husband of fifty-three years, Paul W. Keating; six sons, Paul W. Keating, Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Waltham, Edward V. Keating and his wife, Marianne, of North Andover, John G. Keating of Belmont, Brian J. Keating of Pepperell, James M. Keating, Gregory F. Keating and his wife, Kristin, all of Sandwich; her grandchildren, Paul W., III, Christopher R., William J., Edward V., V, Jennifer M., Erin M., Michael P., Conor M., and Gregory M. Keating; one brother, Brother Columba Coyne, OSB of Weston, Vermont and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday, October 20th, at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, 124 Common Street, Belmont at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday, October 19th, from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Hurley House, 12 Lowell Street, Waltham, MA 02453.
