Mary E. Magee

Waltham – Mrs. Mary E. (Roach) Magee, of Waltham, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 in her home. She was 68. She was the wife of Arthur M. Magee. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Patterson) Roach, she had been a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Waltham. Mary was a graduate of St. Charles High School in Waltham and before raising her family she had worked for the Raytheon Company. In addition to her husband, Mary leaves her children, Arthur M. Magee and his wife, Donna, of Woburn, Laureen A. Magee and her husband, Tim Hussey, of Exeter, New Hampshire, Michael P. Magee and his wife, Leslee, of Roslindale, Kathleen M. O’Brien and her husband, Shawn, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, and Gail M. Magee of Woburn; her grandchildren, Anthony and Gregory Baldi, and Allison, Hannah, Andrew and Michael Magee; two brothers, Joseph Roach of Leominster and Henry Roach of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Steven J. Magee. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
