Waltham - Mrs Mary (Mulcahy) Naughton, of Waltham, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 in her home. She was 86. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Donnelly) Mulcahy, she was an Executive Administrative Assistant at the Brandeis University Campus Police Department and Administrative Offices for twenty-seven years, until her retirement in 1989. Mary was also a communicant at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church in Waltham, and enjoyed outdoor walks, enjoyed reading about family geneology, politics and listening to piano music. She was the wife of the late Edward O. 'Ozzie' Naughton, sister of the late Bernard P. Mulcahy and Martha F.Mulcahy. Mary is survived by her children, Ann Naughton of Salem, Mary S. Cacciatore and her husband, Joseph, of Waltham, Robert J. Naughton and his wife, Karen, of Westwood, Marla J. OReilly and her husband, Michael, of Chelmsford, Dennis J. Naughton of Albany, Vermont, and Paul A. Naughton of Waltham; one brother, Robert P. Mulcahy and his wife, Marilyn, of Maine, Eilene A. Blanchard of Waltham, and Helen E. Mulcahy of Virginia; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
