Mary Pat (Riseling) Regan

Mrs. Mary Pat (Riseling) Regan, of Belmont and North Eastham, formerly of Sudbury, Quincy and Boston died Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Belmont Manor Nursing Center. She was 84.
Born on October 23, 1933 in Washington, D.C. she was a daughter of the late John J. and Teresa M. (Gallen) Riseling. She was a graduate of The Academy of the Holy Names and later earned an Associate degree from Immaculate College in Washington D.C. She was married to the late John F. Regan Sr. until his death on November 9, 2012.
They lived many years in Sudbury and later Boston and Quincy and always enjoyed time at their home on Cape Cod in North Eastham.
Mary Pat worked for many years as the transportation coordinator for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain and as a tour guide with 'Boston by Tours'. She enjoyed working in both of these positions. She was an avid reader and had a keen interest in museums and cooking for her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, John she is predeceased by her five siblings, George Riseling Jr., Sr. George Francis S.N.J.M., Margaret Phillips, Joseph Riseling and John Riseling.
She leaves her children, Patricia R. Rullo and her husband, Paul of Essex, Kathleen W. Regan of Apex, North Carolina and John F. Regan Jr. and his wife, Catherine of Owings, Maryland; her grandchildren, Patrick W. Ferris, Kelly M. & Mary C. Regan; also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary Pat's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, May 22nd from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to The Church of St. Joseph, 130 Common Street, Belmont where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne will be at 1:45 p.m.
Memorials in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
