Waltham – Ms. Mary A. Picone, of Waltham, died January 16, 2011 at Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 89.
Mary was born in Boston on December 4, 1921, a daughter of the late Onofrio and Mary (LoSchiavo) Picone.
Mary was raised and educated in Dorchester where she had spent most of her life before moving to Waltham several years ago. She had worked as a legal secretary at Ropes and Gray in Boston until her retirement.
She was the sister of the late Victor, John and Fred Picone and Lena Ricci.
She leaves her sister Jean Krauss of Texas and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
