Waltham – Mrs. Mary M. (Kennedy) Pictour, of Waltham, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 90. Born in Belmont, a daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Colliton) Kennedy, Mary was a bookkeeper for many years at Guarantee-First Trust Company on Main Street in Waltham. Prior to working at the bank, she worked for several years at Grover Cronin's Department Store on Moody Street. Mary was the wife of the late John H. Pictour; sister of the late Leo and John Kennedy; mother-in-law of the late James Melanson, Sr., and grandmother of the late Lisa Lane and James Melanson, Jr. She leaves her children, Janice E. Mclaughlin and her husband, Roy, of Venice, Florida, Mary Gail Lane and her husband, Joseph, Carol A. Melanson, and Mary Ellen Pictour, all of Waltham, and John W. Pictour and his fiancé, Julie Gaudet, of Arlington; one sister, Elizabeth Hubbard of Waltham; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Saturday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
