Mary Sbardelli

Miss Mary Sbardelli of West Newton died Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Wingate Nursing Home in Needham. She was 91. Mary was born on July 4, 1918, a daughter of the late Sossio and Rosina (Patuto) Sbardelli. She was a lifelong Newton resident and a skilled dress maker and seamstress. Mary is survived by her sister, Josephine L. Sbardelli of West Newton, her brother, Pat Sbardelli of Chestnut Hill, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Sbardelli and Louise F. Lepordo. Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering for calling hours on Sunday from 2-4 pm and again on Monday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham where her Funeral Service will be held at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
