Mary F. Sheridan, of Waltham, died on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. She was 77.
Mary was born in Waltham on November 12, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bryson) Sheridan. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Waltham and Boston College. Until her retirement she had been a school teacher in Waltham at Hardy, MacArthur and Nathaniel Banks elementary schools. After retirement she worked part time as a receptionist at Weston Manor Nursing Home. She loved to travel and visited all 50 states as well as many countries throughout Europe.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara A. Rando (Stephen) of Waltham; her nephews and nieces, Philip Rando, Andrea Rando-Blaha, Julie Rando-Ranucci and Stephen S. Rando and by her cousin, Laima LeLieuvre of Arizona and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was the cousin of the late Robert LeLieuvre
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, January 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to St. Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
