Mary E. Summerhayes

Waltham- Mrs. Mary E. ( Cunniff) Summerhayes of Waltham died Monday May 31, 2004 in Mount Auburn Hospital. She was 79. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kodad) Cunniff, she has lived in Waltham for over forty years as a homemaker. She was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Summerhayes and sister of the late Dorothy Haskell, Helen Flateau, Joseph and Michael Cunniff. She is survived by one son Richard M. Summerhayes of Waltham, one daughter Patricia A. Maillet of Canada, one sister Margaret V. Paino of Waltham, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral 245 Main Street (Re.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
