Mary E. Tibbetts

Daytona Beach, FL - Mrs. Mary E. (DePass) Tibbetts of Daytona Beach, Florida died on Monday, May 19, 2014. She was 55.

Mary was born in Waltham on October 31, 1958, a daughter of Eleanor T. (Hughes) DePass of Waltham and the late John W. DePass. She had been a lifelong Waltham resident before moving to Florida twenty years ago where she worked as a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1976, and a graduate of Laselle College in Newton where she earned her nursing degree.

Mary loved nothing better than to spend time with her family, especially attending Jason's baseball games and Jessica's basketball games. She will always be remembered for her unforgettable smile, laugh and spirit.

In addition to her mother, Mary leaves her husband, Jeffrey C. Tibbetts; her children, Jason Tibbetts, Jessica Tibbetts and Joey DePass and his wife Laura; her siblings, David O. DePass and his wife, Christine, of Waltham, Paul J. DePass and his wife, Dagmar, of Auburn, California, Thomas H. DePass of Mountain View, California, Joseph W. DePass of Waltham, Daniel W. DePass and his wife, Allesandra, of Randolph, Mark A. DePass and his wife, Heather, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jane E. DePass of Sandwich, Patricia A. Tolan and her husband, Robert, of Waltham and Anne Marie DePass of Waltham. Mary also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Jack W. DePass.

Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering to visit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), where her Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m.
