Maureen A. Williams

Waltham – Maureen A. Williams, of Waltham, died Saturday February 23, 2019 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 71.

Maureen was born in Waltham on July 4, 1947, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel Williams, and had been a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Waltham High School.

Until her retirement she had worked as an office manager for Foster-Miller, Inc. in Waltham for over twenty-five years. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially to York Beach in Maine and the Caribbean Islands.

She leaves her husband, Walter J. Smith, Jr.; her children, Steven King of New York City, Thomas King and Christine Roy, both of New Hampshire; her sisters, Joanne Garlisi of Sudbury and Nancy Worth of Waltham and her grandchildren, Taylor, Allie and Aiden Roy.

Family and friends will honor and remember Maureen's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, March 1st from 4 to 8 p.m.
