Waltham – Mr. Michael J. Nedza, of Waltham, died at home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was 49.
Michael was born in Waltham on March 31, 1973 the son of John J. Nedza, of Waltham, and the late Janet (Howes) Nedza. He was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Waltham Vocational High School. He met the love of his life, Kristina DiGregory while in high school and the two have spent 31 loving years together.
Michael started his career with a local electrical contractor where he gained experience and earned his electrician license. He then took his current position in the Waltham Wires Department and has served the city as an electrician for 25 years.
Everyone knew Mike for his infectious laugh. Friends would instantly recognize it from across a crowded room. He was funny, sarcastic and a joy to be around; he got along with everyone. And he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and many friends. He also loved the companionship of his dogs, especially Lucky.
He also loved his blue Ford Mustang, and always kept it in immaculate shape. As a proud member of the National Rifle Association, he especially enjoyed taking the Mustang up to his gun club in Woburn for the day.
In addition to his wife Kristina and his father John, Michael leaves his sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Darren West and their two children Ollie and Dillon, of Waltham; his mother-in-law Gail Smith of Waltham; his aunts and uncles, Maureen Turmel of Waltham, Judy and Jim Leach of Maynard and Paul and Connie Nedza of Waltham; his best friend who was like a brother, Chris Falzone of Waltham, and many other cousins, aunts and uncles.
