Waltham Miss Michelle A. Kewer of Waltham died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Saint Elizabeths Medical Center, Brighton. She was 54. Born and raised in Waltham, she was a daughter of the late Alan B. and Kathleen E. (Keough) Kewer. Michelle had worked as a procurement contracting officer in the contracting division for the United States Army Corps of Engineers since 1971. She was a 1969 graduate of Saint Marys High School in Waltham, a 1971 graduate of Aquinas Junior College in Newton, and received her masters degree in 1999 from Western New England College. She was a volunteer at Saint Patricks Church in Watertown, Past Exalted Ruler of the Waltham Elks, Lodge #953, and a state trustee of the Massachusetts Elks Association. She was the niece of the late William V. Keough and Helen T. Keough. She is survived by one sister, Alanna J. Leonard and her husband Kevin, of Marietta, Georgia; three nieces, Michaela, Erin, and Kellie; her aunts and uncles, Mary Canty of Billerica, Agnes Paul of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael F. Keough, Jr. of Waltham, James J. Keough of Florida and New Hampshire, John T. Keough of Waltham, David E. Keough of Falmouth, Thomas M. Keough of Waltham, and Joseph E. Keough of Natick and many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
