Mildred J. (Joyce) Molis

Waltham – Mrs. Mildred J. (Joyce) Molis, of Waltham, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Maristhill Nursing Home. She was 96.

Millie was born in Waltham on October 26, 1921, a daughter of the late Norman and Bertha (Curtis) Joyce. She lived in West Brookfield, Leominster and in Merrimack, New Hampshire before returning to Waltham twenty-eight years ago.

Until her retirement, she worked at Waltham Screw Company, Gavits Wire and Cable in Brookfield and Foster Grant in Leominster.

The wife of the late Anthony Molis, she leaves her son, Douglas C. Joyce (Marsha Edmunds) of Waltham; her grandchildren, Kimberley Joyce, Dina Babineau (Dave) and Michael Joyce, all of Billerica; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Carresi, Jason, Jamie and Jeffrey Babineau, all of whom affectionately called her "Nana", and several nieces and nephews.

Millie was also a sister of the late Norman Joyce, Harold Joyce, Winifred Dunn and Dorothy Palmer.

Family and friends will honor and remember Millie's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
