Mildred A. O'Neil

Miss Mildred A. O’Neil of Waltham,died Thursday December 2, 2010 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 74.

Mildred was born in Boston, a daughter of the late John V. and Catherine E. (Beattie) O’Neil, she had lived in Waltham for over forty years. Mildred worked for over twenty years at Black and Webster in Waltham and until her retirement she was a computer operator for Firestone Financial in Newton Center.

Mildred leaves her friend, Debora A. Speight and her husband Thomas of Walpole.

Family and friends will honor and remember Mildred’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
