Moira I. Dunne

Waltham – Mrs. Moira I. (Phelan) Dunne of Waltham died Monday, July 21, 2003 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. Born in Northampton, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Costello) Dunne, she had been a resident of Waltham since 1948. She was a member of the China-Burma-India Association. She leaves her husband, Edward R. Dunne; 7 children, Edward R. Dunne III of Newton, Mary T. Hatch of Wilmington, Naomi Bouche of Rutland, Dolly Palmieri of Paradise, CA, Michael J. Dunne of Waltham, Juliana Matthews of Adams and Carolyn D. Kretz of Sterling; 1 sister, Barbara St. Louis of Yarmouth and several grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Clark Dunne. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday evening 7-9 p.m. Donations in Moira’s memory to the Nursing Department at Maristhill, 66 Newton Street, Waltham, MA 02453 would be appreciated.
