Muriel E. Grimes

Hudson – Mrs. Muriel E. (Garland) Grimes, of Hudson formerly of Waltham, died in her home surrounded by family on July 22nd, 2013. She was 90.
Muriel was born in Newfoundland, Canada, on April 22, 1923, a daughter of George B. and Hilda V. (Morris) Garland. She was devoted to her family and her faith. For many years she belonged to the Lexington United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir.
She leaves her son William H. Grimes III and his wife, Pamila, of Hudson; her grandsons Jason Grimes and his wife, Erin, and Samuel Grimes; her great granddaughter, Samantha Grimes, her brother Allen Garland and his wife, Pat, of Waltham and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late William H. Grimes, Jr. and sister of the late Sherman Garland and his wife, Jean, and Donald Garland.
Funeral Services are private.
