Dunedin, FL Mr. Mylon A. Lyons, Sr., of Southborough and Dunedin, Florida, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, May 14, 2007 in Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was 75. Born in Weston, a son of the late Herbert and Mary (MacEachern) Lyons, Mylon was an equipment operator for thirty-seven years for Mass. Broken Stone Company in Weston until his retirement in 1993. Mylon was a member of the Waltham Lodge of Elks # 953, and IBEW Local # 4. He was a 1950 graduate of Weston High School, and was an avid sports fan. Mylon leaves his wife of fifty years, Catherine I. (Gillis) Lyons; his children, Mylon A. Lyons, Jr., and his wife, Karen, of Waltham, Edward J. Lyons of Quincy, Betty Lyons of Lowell, John F. Lyons and his wife, Mary, of Southborough, and Darlene A. Mancuso and her husband, David, of Lakeville; one brother, Fred A. Lyons and his wife, Ann, of Whispering Pines North Carolina; his grandchildren, James, Brooke, Katelyn, Max, Kristin, Charlie, and Owen and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Julias Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
